Greater timekeeping precision has dictated the changes made by Armin Strom to its Pure Resonance watch. The twin-seconds flyback mechanism that was a feature of the previous version has been replaced by subsidiary seconds at 7 o'Clock. Reducing the number of functions this way means the timekeeping function benefits from the full force of the two regulators that are synchronised via a superb, butterfly-shaped resonance clutch spring. The lower regulator distributes the energy for the hours, minutes and seconds displays while the upper regulator creates resonance. Presented here in steel, also with a version in 18k pink gold. Mounted on an alligator strap with an additional rubber strap.
