Récital 26 Brainstorm Chapter One
Bovet 1822 2019
Bovet gives the measure of its expertise in this first chapter of its Brainstorm series, intended as a showcase for the brand's innovation. The first challenge was to cut the asymmetric "writing slope" case out of transparent sapphire, to create a 360° window on the intricacies of an entirely new movement that features a patented double-sided flying tourbillon, a three-dimensional moon-phase display, a large date and a ten-day power-reserve indicator. This architectural staging of the movement draws the eye towards the inclined planes that carry the mobiles and components with, uppermost, the moon phase whose surface is engraved and filled with SuperLuminova. Not forgetting the dial made up of concave helixes which can be hand-decorated by Bovet's master Artisans.
