Richard Mille gives new life to the RM 33-02, introduced in 2011, with a strong combination of Carbon TPT® for the bezel and caseback, and red gold for the caseband. The form of the original has been significantly restyled and refined thanks to a subtle blending of the brand's signature tonneau shape with a round silhouette. The result, produced as a limited edition of 140 pieces, is a sports-luxe watch for daily wear in a 41.7mm case. Clearly visible are the skeletonised workings of the RMXP1 movement, cut from grade 5 titanium. This highly graphic engineering accentuates volumes through light and shadow, ready to be admired from both sides. Seen through the sapphire caseback, the interlocking gears and bridges draw the eye into the depths of the movement to rest on the off-centre platinum micro-rotor; all part of the design of a calibre which, at 2.60mm high, verges on extra-thin.
