The Astrorégulateur Movement defies the force of gravity

For the 21st edition of the SIHH, Cartier fine watchmaking defies the future with the Rotonde de Cartier Astrorégulateur watch fitted with the 9800 MC calibre. This revolutionary movement counteracts the effects of gravity on timing accuracy in vertical positions, thanks to the unusual positioning of the balance and seconds hand on a micro-rotor located on the dial side.
