Tourbograph Perpetual "Pour le Mérite"

A. Lange & Söhne 2017

ref. 706.025
Men's

Tourbograph Perpétuel «Pour le Mérite» square

A. Lange & Söhne reserves its "Pour le

Mérite" collection for its most technically accomplished creations. The

fifth timepiece to join the range, the Tourbograph Perpetual brings together a

constant-force fusee-and-chain transmission, a tourbillon escapement, a

split-seconds chronograph, and a perpetual calendar. An impressive

accomplishment that A. Lange & Söhne has endowed with a most classic style.

The dial with its Arabic numerals, railroad minutes and blued steel or

rhodium-plated gold hands, and the trefoil arrangement of the subdials are a

tribute to the Manufacture's famed pocket watches. This traditional approach is

also evidenced in the construction of the movement, such as a column-wheel

transmission for the chronograph and a screwed balance.
