Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph
Vacheron Constantin 2020
This elegant new release in the Traditionnelle collection by Vacheron Constantin comes steeped in Geneva's grand watchmaking tradition. The precision of a monopusher Chronograph combines with the endless rotations of a tourbillon. Unusually, the tourbillon's carriage is set in motion by the intermediate wheel in the running seconds display, thus allowing a wider opening onto the upper plate. A power-reserve indicator and a 45-minute chronograph counter complete the display. The chronograph, whose single pusher is set in the crown, is fitted with an "all or nothing" dynamic activation system. The power that drives these functions comes from Calibre 3200, which Vacheron Constantin developed for its 260th anniversary. Assembling 292 components, this manual-winding tourbillon chronograph movement operates at a frequency of 2.5 Hz (18,000 vph) so that the wearer can appreciate each beat of the tourbillon.
