Time and space are intertwined notions, but how to merge them in the confines of a watch? Urwerk has risen to this symbolic challenge with a 25-piece limited edition, in titanium and steel with black PVD, whose design harks back to the brand's early watches from the 1990s. Time is shown by rotating satellite hours. And space? The minutes hand monitors the distance that each person travels on Earth without even moving (around 555 kilometres every 20 minutes). Opposite this, another indicator keeps track of the distance travelled by Earth as it orbits the Sun (35,740 kilometres every 20 minutes). For a watch inspired by the laws of the universe, what better name than the UR-100 SpaceTime.
