Virtuoso VIII
Bovet 1822 2017
Virtuoso VIII square
This is the first time Bovet presents a watch in the
Fleurier Grandes Complications collection that is not in the famous Amadeo
convertible case. And for good reason: Virtuoso VIII presents an unprecedented
view of its movement architecture thanks to an inclined case in red gold: an
admirable choice for this new tourbillon watch, which comes with three patents
and numerous technical innovations. As well as the double-sided flying
tourbillon, the Virtuoso VIII guarantees ten days of power reserve from a
single barrel, and offers a wonderfully legible large date display. Made for
collectors, this is no less a timepiece designed for ease of use, with a
spherical differential linked to the barrel that halves winding time. Practical
and reliable, the Virtuoso VIII is also a lesson in horological decoration.
Both sides of the plate are chased with a beautifully ornate design that makes
a contrast with the emblematic Fleurisanne engraving on the bridges.
