Zeitwerk Minute Repeater
A. Lange & Söhne 2015
ref. 147.025F
Men's
The year's major innovation, the Zeitwerk Minute Repeater is the first Lange watch with a decimal repeater, sounding the hours, ten-minute intervals and minutes. The chimes, which are actuated by a pusher, always correspond to the time shown on the dial. If the striking mechanism is triggered when a numeral or numerals are about to change, the jumping action of the discs is delayed until after the chiming sequence has finished. As a safety precaution, the crown cannot be pulled out to set the time during the chimes. Furthermore, the striking mechanism will not operate with less than 12 hours of power reserve.
