History

Founded in 2002 by British master watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin, Speake-Marin creates “Belle Horlogerie”, “ Beautiful Timepieces” for those who want to wear a truly unique watch on their wrist.

In 2012, Mrs Christelle Rosnoblet, an entrepreneur and watch enthusiast, became the CEO of Speake-Marin, a true turning point for the company. Being inspired by modern architecture and design, she started to modernize the Speake-Marin looks, reflected today in its contemporary design for movements and dials, combined with a distinctive timeless watch case.

In 2015, the company invested in a new workshop near Neuchatel, which includes an independent Research & Development department.

In 2020, Speake-Marin is the proud owner of six “in-house” movements: two Haute Horlogerie movements, one with a Double Vertical Tourbillon and one with a Minute Repeater Tourbillon complication, as well as four 4HZ movements with integrated micro-rotors which range from basic small seconds to Dual Time and Flying Tourbillon complications.

Since 2018, the fine watchmaking house is based in the heart of Geneva. It was an obvious choice for Speake-Marin to establish its new head office in Geneva, which represents both the cradle of luxury fine watchmaking and the “city of peace”, open to the world.
