Centre Neuchâtelois d'Intégration Professionnelle – CNIP - trains chamferers to perform hand-chamfering. The course focuses on chamfering/decoration (piercing, filing, deburring, satin-polishing, ridge polishing) with additional instruction in basic micro-mechanics and theory. After six months of training, students are able to chamfer simple parts and have gained sufficient practice to progress towards more demanding chamfering skills. Full mastery requires many years of experience.
