A combination of training at a specialist dial-making company, usually in La Chaux-de-Fonds or Le Locle, and studies at a vocational college, this two-year course introduces the dialprinter apprentice to dialwork on hand-operated machines, and using automatic transfer and screenprinting machines. Lessons covering watchmaking theory, technical drawing, chemistry, toxicology, product knowledge, general education and inter-company courses complete the curriculum.
