Professional Education and Training (PET)

- Higher vocational college Diploma
Hold a federal VET diploma (certificat fédéral de capacité - CFC) as a watchmaker, a components drafter, an automation specialist or hold a federal vocational baccalaureate.
Advanced vocational training for a microtechnician focuses on situations encountered during new product development, laboratory analysis and measures, and production. This two-year course, which comprises 40% on-the-job learning and 60% theory, develops general, scientific and technical competencies. Three specialisms are proposed: micro-mechanical design, watch design or in a watchmaking laboratory.
