Altiplano 40 mm
For 60 years already, Piaget has built on its uncommon expertise in extra-thin to imbue its classic timepieces with the codes of elegance and refinement. Since the very first extra-thin model in 1957, the Altiplano has never been afraid to venture into new territory, including this latest incursion into vibrant colour as a special nod to this anniversary year. True to its reputation, and without straying from the studied simplicity of its design, the Altiplano 40 mm fits its slender silhouette inside a yellow gold case that beautifully contrasts with the pine green dial. For the movement, Piaget has built on its 1205P calibre, introduced in 2013 as the successor to the legendary 12P, to bring its new 1203P to life, with the always useful date indication as the only addition. A limited edition of 260 pieces which proves that nothing succeeds like the absence of excess.
