The Fondation Haute Horlogerie (FHH), dedicated to the transmission of watchmaking knowledge and culture, is entering into a strategic academic collaboration with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) School of Gemology and Jewelry Arts.
Delivered through the FHH Academy, the educational arm of the FHH responsible for training, assessment and certification of watchmaking knowledge worldwide, the collaboration will expand access to FHH watchmaking education through GIA’s international learning network.
As a first step, FHH Watch Advisor, the first level of the FHH Certification, together with its dedicated training programme, will be made available to GIA students through the GIA platform. By bringing FHH Academy content to a new international audience, the collaboration creates new opportunities to discover, develop and formally validate watchmaking knowledge.
