Yoni is a young, talented creative who, after studying Industrial & Watch Design, joined @iwcwatches as a Watch Designer at the headquarters in Switzerland. His keen eye for vintage watches and impeccable taste make him one of the most promising young designers and creatives in the industry. Make sure to follow his adventures! Here is what he chose to tell us:
I__
With an industrial background, I’ve studied products extensively and draw inspiration from designers like Mies Van der Rohe and Eames. Today, my design inspiration often stems from publishing/furniture design.

Vintage items hold unique value, reflecting a time when companies were bold and infused emotions into products. As a designer, understanding vintage/héritage is crucial—know the rules to break them.
III__
Over the past three years, my vision of watchmaking transformed, thanks to people who introduced me to a new realm of watches. Connecting with others, spreading passion, and continual learning shape my design approach.
IV__
Clothes silently express identity. Inspired by brands like Casatlantic and ALD, I admire their attention to detail and ability to bend old dressing rules to create stunning pieces.

Started photography in 2022 with an Olympus OM-1, providing a fresh perspective on product design. Seeing things as consumers do helps in refining the design process through trial and error.
