Ressence

Creation date: 2010

Contemporary brands

Benoît Mintiens, industrial designer, launches Ressence in 2010. The Belgian brand rapidly becomes popular with collectors seeking alternative and independent watch-making approaches. The philosophy underlying his house creations can be summarised in two words: purity and modernism. Ressence is short for "Renaissance of the essential", essential here meaning to display the time.
