Specificities:
Chronograph, Vintage
Introduced in 2018, the 1858 line references the military watches which Minerva, now part of Montblanc, was making in the 1920s and 1930s. Reinforcing this connection to the great outdoors, Montblanc has dedicated the line to mountain exploration, with khaki green dials complemented by bronze cases enriched with aluminium that gently patinate over time. Functional complications, produced in-house, align with the outdoors theme in designs that show off their vintage heritage down to the smallest details, luminescent "cathedral" hands and NATO strap included. The automatic bicompax chronograph, measuring 42mm in diameter and water-resistant to 100 metres, ticks every box as an "adventurer" watch. It underwent more than 500 hours of simulated wear in Montblanc's tests and controls.
