Piaget has always used the métiers d'art to celebrate the rose. This year, the watchmaker's favourite flower is brought to life by engraver Dick Steenman on the pink gold dial of eight Altiplano 38mm watches. The fineness of this "canvas" makes the perfect counterpoint for the curves of this extra-thin timepiece, and renders the finished tableau all the more impressive. A masterpiece of delicacy and sensuality, each dial takes thirty hours of craftsmanship to complete.
