Arceau Le temps suspendu
First seen in 2011, the “time suspended” concept is an invitation to break free from time’s grasp and enjoy the present moment to the fullest. In 2025 Hermès revisits this complication for the Arceau model, whose 42mm case surrounds an openworked dial that reveals the “time suspended” module by Agenhor, while the Hermès H1837 manufacture movement is seen through the sapphire back. Proposed in white gold and rose gold variants, the Arceau Le temps suspendu offers three dial finishes: brun désert (desert brown), rouge sellier (saddler red) and blue. Whenever time is “suspended”, the hour and minute hands remain stationary on each side of 12 o’clock, while the date hand disappears under the edge of the dial. A press on the pusher at 9 o’clock returns all the hands to their correct position to show the current time and date, no matter how much time has passed.
