Cut Le temps suspendu
Hermès chose Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025 to present its first Cut model, introduced a year earlier, with a complication. Fitted with the Hermès H1912 manufacture movement, this new iteration incorporates the “time suspended” module, developed by Agenhor in Geneva: a poetic complication that invites the wearer to pause time and experience the joys of the present moment. When the pusher at 8 o’clock is pressed, hour and minute hands come to a standstill at each side of 12 o’clock, while small seconds continue to run, in reverse, sweeping their subdial once every 24 seconds. Should the wearer wish to know the time, a second press on the pusher sets the hands in motion again, instantly catching up the time that was previously “suspended”. Conceived as a “circle within a round”, the 39mm case is in rose gold, with a burgundy red or opaline silver dial. The latter variant is also proposed with 60 diamonds on the bezel. All three iterations are presented on an integrated bracelet with polished and satin-finished links, which can be swapped for a chalk rubber strap.
