Tense lines meet softened edges; angular shapes merge into an object that is both delicate and robust: Hermès makes its grand entrance into the sports watch segment with the new H08 collection, in a language that is quintessentially its own. A graphene-filled composite ensures that the elegant cushion-shaped case is strong as well as light on the wrist. A bezel in black ceramic surrounds the black-gold treated dial that shows hours, minutes, centre seconds and date. Keeping time is the in-house H1837 mechanical automatic movement which provides 50 hours of power reserve. Mathematicians will appreciate the originality of the dial font: the contours of the 0, symbolising void, and of the 8, symbolising infinity, evoke the shape of the case (which is also proposed in titanium).
