Two moons in sculpted and engraved solid gold, each over a centimetre in diameter, travel across a starry sky on a blue lacquered and guilloché rotating disk. The manual-winding movement, which stores 90 hours of power reserve from twin barrels, fulfils its task to power this precision moon phase that requires a single adjustment of one day every 122 years. And there is more: visible through the sapphire back, Arnold & Son has added a second moon-phase indicator on the reverse side in the form of a subdial and pointer. One push of a corrector button adjusts the pointer hand and syncs the moon-phase display.
