Montblanc TimeWalker Chronograph 1000 Limited Edition 18

Montblanc carries on the Minerva heritage with a chronograph that is tailor-made for the high-speed world of the racing circuit. Elapsed time is measured with 1/1000^th-of-a-second precision by a movement at the peak of horological mechanics, as demonstrated by its two patents and 22 auxiliary patents. The secret of this performance lies in the two balances. A large balance with 18 screws keeps hours, minutes and seconds running to time. The chronograph has its own, smaller balance, visible at 10 o'clock, which oscillates at an incredible 360,000 vibrations/hour. Of course, such extraordinary precision would be of little use without clearly legible indications. Minutes are displayed on the inner scale of the counter at 6 o'clock, with seconds shown on the outer scale. Increments of 1/100^th of a second are read from the scale on the flange. The elusive 1/1000^th of a second are clearly visible in a red aperture at 12 o'clock.
