Navitimer Ref.806 1959 Re-Edition

Breitling revolutionised the pilot's tool watch when in 1952 it released a chronograph complete with a circular slide rule, thanks to which pilots could perform some two dozen essential calculations during flight. As a tribute to the Navitimer Ref. 806 released in 1959, Breitling is presenting a limited-edition reissue of 1,959 pieces. Same 40.90mm steel case, same rotating bezel with exactly 94 beads around its edge, same circular slide rule... At first glance, this new Navitimer replicates the original down to the smallest detail. There are, however, concessions to modernity in the increased water-resistance (now 30 metres), Super-LumiNova® on the dial and, most importantly, Breitling's new B09 calibre; a manual-winding movement inspired by the renowned B01.
