When Piaget released the Polo in 1979, it made history with a watch that fused dial, case and bracelet into one. For the brand's 150th anniversary, this sport-chic model returns, its alternating polished gadroons and satin-finish links extending seamlessly from the bracelet to the case and dial. Introduced as the ultimate elegant sports watch, it returns true to the original, with the exception of the quartz movement which Piaget has replaced with an ultra-thin automatic mechanical calibre, 1200P1: a whisker-thin 2.35mm high and visible through the sapphire case back. Cut from 200 grams of yellow gold, the Piaget Polo 79 is as desirable today as it was almost half a century ago.
