Speedmaster Chronoscope
Omega’s Chronoscope takes the legendary Speedmaster and introduces design cues from the brand’s 1940s wrist chronographs. The 43mm case of this model is fashioned from Omega’s exclusive Bronze Gold alloy, paired with an oxidized bronze dial - distinguished by a special patina with an opaline finish - and a polished brown ceramic bezel that carries the enamel tachymeter scale. Continuing the bronze aesthetic, the leaf-shaped hands and Arabic numerals are given a Bronze Gold PVD coating. Inside the minute track are three scales in a spiral layout, namely a tachymeter for calculating speed, a pulsometer to measure heart rate, and a telemeter for calculating distance. Facing each other on silvery subdials are small seconds and a totalizer for the chronograph’s coaxial hours and minutes. Power is provided by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9908, a manual-winding movement decorated with Arabesque Côtes de Genève.
