Split-Seconds Monopusher Chronograph Perpetual Calendar reference 5373P

When it was introduced in 2010, the manual-winding calibre 27-525 PS Q became the thinnest split-seconds chronograph movement with perpetual calendar ever made at 7.3mm high. Since 2017 it has equipped a model in platinum with a blue sunburst dial. Now Patek Philippe is extending its palette with an original interpretation for left-handed collectors: a first in the brand’s recent history. The 38.3mm platinum case of this grand complication model stands out by positioning the crown, with an integrated chronograph monopusher, at 9 o’clock, and the split-seconds pusher at 8 o’clock. Month, day and leap year cycle for the perpetual calendar are shown in apertures, completed by a vertically aligned pointer date and moon phases. Red chronograph hands are echoed by the red hand on the 60-minute counter at 9 o’clock. Small seconds occupy the 3 o’clock position. The sporty aesthetic spills over into the black leather strap with an embossed textile texture and contrasting red stitching.
