Ulysse
The first men's watch from Beauregard is outstanding for its dial, composed of 68 aquamarines set into a gold latticework. Each stone is meticulously hand-cut and fitted into its gold frame. Positioned under the stones, a mother-of-pearl disc amplifies and reflects the light. The off-set circular hands are curved to follow the arch of the dial, which resembles stained glass. Housed inside the 41mm case in rose gold is an exceptional movement, the work of independent master watchmaker Vianney Halter. Crafted from German silver, the movement's patented construction, including the invisible peripheral oscillating weight which supplies 56 hours of power reserve, enables an unobstructed view of these intricate workings. Several months of planning, drawing and prototyping went into the development of this calibre, which is magnificently hand-finished. The screw-down sapphire crystal fitted in the case back is decorated with gold engraving, highlighted in blue lacquer. This Ulysse watch is worn on an interchangeable stitchless chestnut brown alligator strap that fastens with a pin buckle.
