Academy Tourbillon Georges Favre-Jacot

Zenith has opted for a distinctly contemporary architecture that lends a twist to the two classic complications of this Academy watch, namely a constant-force fusee-and-chain transmission and a tourbillon. This is further accentuated by the choice of materials, with a 45-mm case in black ceramic, no dial, and a rubber strap. Zenith has named the watch in honour of its founder, Georges Favre-Jacot, a man of exceptional foresight and the father of one of the very first industrial watch manufacturers. The movement is the now legendary El Primero, a high-frequency calibre developed in 1969 and still one of the cornerstones of the brand's collections.
