Arceau Petite Lune
Imagined in 1978 by Henri d’Origny, the Arceau watch is simplicity underpinned by creativity. Its white gold case, set with 70 diamonds, rests on stirrup-shaped lugs to form an enduring and singular silhouette. This new Arceau is a wrist-borne journey into space. Viewed through the round window of a spacecraft, the planets are depicted in mother-of-pearl, aragonite and opal, each bringing a particular colour and texture. They have been delicately set in orbit against a constellation of aventurine and diamond stars. With typical whimsy, Hermès has positioned the moon-phase display between 10 and 11 o’clock. This poetic interpretation of the heavens is brought to life by the Hermès H1837 automatic movement with the addition of a Petite Lune module. Displaying hours and minutes, this Arceau Petite Lune is fitted with a sapphire blue alligator strap that is crafted in the Hermès Horloger workshops.
