Arceau Petite lune
Already presented under a glittering night sky, the Hermès Arceau Petite Lune returns in 2025 with its signature moon-phase display between 10 and 11 o’clock and a delightful cosmic twist. The 38mm stainless steel case displays a prominent rose-cut diamond on the crown. Moreover, 99 brilliant-cut diamonds, smaller at the ends and becoming larger in the centre, form a crescent shape that spans the bezel between 8 and 2 o’clock to suggest an eclipse. On the lacquered dial, in two shades of blue to create a chiaroscuro effect, this diamond eclipse is inverted, with 15 diamonds around the centre of the dial, from 11 to 4 o’clock, that diminish in size at the tips. A crescent-shaped aperture shows moon phases against a starry night sky. Beating at 4Hz, the H1837 automatic movement, developed by Vaucher Manufacture, stands just 3.7mm high and provides 42 hours of power reserve. This Arceau Petite Lune is worn on an interchangeable Hermès abyss blue alligator strap.
