Chronograph
For this model, TAG Heuer has looked to the chronograph which Jack Heuer designed in the early 1960s, specifically for racing drivers. Every detail of the original has been respected, from the "Panda" aesthetic of the two anthracite counters on the silver-toned dial to the emphasis on functionality and the classic "Heuer" logo. The telemeter scale around the flange was originally used by artillerymen to calculate the distance to a point of impact based on the speed of sound. All in all, a self-winding chrono with a definite vintage vibe.
