The Récital 17 introduces new complications to the Virtuoso II manufacture calibre, namely a triple time zone with city discs and day/night discs for the two additional time zones, and a double precision moon that simultaneously indicates the moon phase in both hemispheres. The reverse side, which is of course fitted with a sapphire crystal, reveals the architecture of this complicated movement, the indicator for the 7-day power reserve, and the distinctive triple seconds hand.
