Evolution 9 Spring Drive GMT 9R66

The Evolution 9 collection captures the fundamental values of Grand Seiko, with a particular emphasis on sports watches. Following on from the Hi-Beat 36000, winner of the Men’s Watch prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2021, the Japanese brand is expanding the collection with new sports models. They include this GMT 9R66, which is powered by a new-generation Spring Drive movement. Crafted in titanium on an integrated bracelet, this robust watch brings greater legibility with its bolder, luminescent indexes and hands. A central GMT hand indicates a second time zone on the bezel’s 24-hour scale. The textured white dial is inspired by the winter morning mists in Shinshu, home to the studio where Grand Seiko Spring Drive watches are made.
