Freak One

No hands, no dial, no crown. An astonishing orbital flying carousel. A direct descendant of the very first Freak, the Freak One is the continuation of decades of research and development. Ulysse Nardin’s in-house UN-240 calibre incorporates the Grinder automatic winding system. Four blades connected to the rotor capture energy from even the smallest wrist movements to provide 72 hours of power reserve. This new calibre also incorporates an oversized, aerodynamic, monobloc balance in silicon coupled with an escapement treated with DIAMonSIL (diamond-coated silicon) for shock-resistance. Measuring 44mm in diameter and cased in black DLC-coated titanium with a rose gold bezel, the Freak One is the first Freak on an integrated rubber strap. Manufactured by BIWI, it includes 30% recycled rubber.
