The Bubble watch, which made its memorable debut in 2000, returns as part of Corum's Heritage collection, and with generously oversized dimensions: 47 mm in diameter and 18.8 mm high with a domed, 8-mm thick sapphire crystal that acts as a lens to magnify and distort the dial, whose design borrows from Vasarely's Op Art movement; while perfectly flat, a pattern of squares that become larger as they near the centre creates the illusion of a curved surface. The all-black version, limited to 350 units, is a particularly powerful interpretation of the Heritage Bubble's design.
