Lady Féérie watch

Since the 1940s, Van Cleef & Arpels has celebrated the allure of fairies with enchanting creations. This new interpretation of the Lady Féerie watch comes in a palette of pink shades. Joining the Féerie line, this Poetic Complication combines the skills of the brand’s watchmakers with the talent of its artisans, in a 33mm case in rose gold. In the glow of twilight, a fairy with a diamond face uses her wand to mark passing time. Perched on a cloud of white mother-of-pearl, she wears a dress of diamonds and pink sapphires. A powdery gradient covers her gossamer wings, which are hemmed with diamonds and filled with translucent pink plique-à-jour and pink opaque enamel. The fairy’s wand points to the retrograde minutes while jumping hours are shown in an aperture. For the dial, the evening sky is painted in four colours on guilloché mother-of-pearl. Turning the watch over reveals an engraved night sky with a full moon and stars on the oscillating weight, under a sapphire crystal with a decoration of clouds whose enamelled outline produces a subtle shimmering effect.
