Lange 1 Time Zone

Specificities:
Calendar, Time Zones
The first dual time zone complication to join the Lange 1 collection, in 2005, the Lange 1 Time Zone indicates the time at home and in a second time zone with rarely equalled legibility. Both time zones are read in a single glance from subdials, each with an intuitively readable ring-shaped day/night indicator in its centre. A large date display and power-reserve indicator complete the line-up. The larger subdial shows home time while local time, on the smaller subdial, is adjusted via the pusher in one-hour increments. The city disk simultaneously rotates to align the reference city with the pointer at 5 o'clock. A convenient addition to this new rendition is the red field that appears in an aperture in the pointer when the reference time zone observes daylight saving time. If required, home time and local time displays can be transferred between the two subdials, using the crown. Three versions are proposed, in white gold, pink gold or as a 100-piece limited edition in yellow gold.
