L.U.C 1860
Inspired by the first model in the L.U.C collection, which launched in 1997, and named for the year Chopard was established, the L.U.C 1860 measures 36.5mm in diameter and stands a slim 8.2mm high. Testament to the brand’s commitment to sustainable luxury, its case is made from Lucent Steel, a proprietary alloy containing 80% recycled metal that Chopard is rolling out to all its collections. It frames a salmon-pink, hand-guilloché dial in solid gold and houses the extra-thin (3.3mm high) L.U.C 96.40-L movement which has COSC chronometer rating. An evolution of the very first L.U.C movement to come out of Chopard’s Manufacture, in 1996, its 22k gold micro-rotor winds twin stacked barrels to provide 65 hours of power reserve. The Poinçon de Genève hallmark is the guarantee of the craftsmanship and reliability of watches assembled in the Canton of Geneva.
