L.U.C Flying T Twin Perpetual

Newly introduced, the L.U.C 96.36-L movement is the first time the Geneva-based Manufacture has paired a perpetual calendar with large date and a flying tourbillon. Certified by the COSC, as are all L.U.C movements, it accumulates 65 hours of power reserve thanks to Chopard’s Twin Technology stacked barrels, with winding by a micro-rotor. Chopard has fitted this movement in the L.U.C Flying T Twin Perpetual, which carries the Poinçon de Genève hallmark. The subtly refined bassine-shaped case measures 40.5mm in diameter and 11.6mm high, and is crafted from ethical 18k yellow gold. Fitted with an interchangeable strap, it frames a gold dial in Forest Green whose sunburst guilloché motif radiates from the opening for the tourbillon. Hands and hour markers are also in yellow gold. The perpetual calendar displays the date prominently in a double aperture at 12 o’clock, completed by a counter for the months and leap-year indication at 3 o’clock, and another counter at 9 o’clock showing the days of the week, which also serves as a 24-hour and day/night indicator.
