Orbis Mundi

In celebration of its bicentennial, Bovet 1822 presents Orbis Mundi, a world timer that displays the time in 24 time zones at a glance, and whose functions are set by turning the crown: anti-clockwise for the hours and minutes; clockwise for the city disc. Furthermore, an opening in the dial reveals the balance and the regulating organ, with a three-armed seconds hand sweeping an aventurine glass segment at 6 o’clock marked for 20 seconds. On the right side of the dial is an indicator for the seven days of power reserve, provided by a single barrel. Just 60 Orbis Mundi watches will be made, cased in red gold or titanium.
