Panthère de Cartier

In the 1980s and 90s, Cartier's famous panther, its icon since the 1910s, became synonymous with a collection of watches that were instantly recognisable for their square case, metal bracelet and screw-down crown. A classic, on-trend timepiece that quickly made its mark. After disappearing in the early 2000s, the Panthère de Cartier returns this year with no fewer than 17 styles in two sizes, 22 mm and 27 mm, in gold, steel, or a combination of gold and steel. The "full set" model is spotted with black enamel in imitation of the feline's fur, while a pink gold version features black lacquer inserts on the dial and bracelet. The ultimate 80s revival.
