Pilot's Watch Automatic Spitfire

IWC has declared 2019 the year of the Spitfire, and equipped all the new models in the range with in-house movements in honour of the engineers behind the legendary British fighter plane, and their expertise. The line takes its cue from the Mark 11 navigation watch that was made in Schaffhausen, from 1948 on, for the Royal Air Force. Its pared-down design shines through in this Automatic model, driven by a new movement, IWC 32110, inside a bronze case for a proudly vintage effect. This robust and reliable calibre features bi-directional pawl winding which delivers 72 hours of power reserve, and is shielded against magnetic fields by a soft iron inner case.
