RS11
A square case in white gold contains Rudis Sylva’s in-house Harmonious Oscillator movement whose two balances, which are coupled by the gear-teeth cut into their rims, exhibit resonance from the very first oscillations. A tourbillon in a completely stable state must make a complete revolution to compensate for the effect of gravity. Because the balances are linked and because of the asymmetric deployment of the two balance springs, in a vertical position the Harmonious Oscillator enables instantaneous correction. This results in significantly improved accuracy compared with a conventional tourbillon or carrousel. Finishing is on a par, from the tapered pyramid guillochage on the plate to the chamfered bridges, and the engraving and Grand Feu enamel on the caseback.
