The Seamaster goes over to the dark side with an all-black livery. Black ceramic is the key to the Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black, for the robust 43.5mm case but also for the dial which is laser-engraved with the Seamaster’s signature wave pattern, the minute track and the Omega logo. All of which gives a sculptural effect and contrast to this black-on-black dial that keeps legibility uppermost, including in low light, as Omega has applied anthracite Super-LumiNova® to the diving scale, PVD indices, skeleton hands and dot at 12 o’clock: all essential features when diving at a depth of 300 metres, with the added reassurance that beneath its dark exterior, this new Seamaster contains a high-performance automatic movement: the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 which has been certified by METAS to the highest industry standards.
