The Slim d'Hermès collection – as its name implies – is distinguished by slender profiles and the sobriety of its designs, and the Slim GMT respects both these principles. The requisite thinness of the case in palladium, a rare and light metal in the platinum group, is assured by the extra-thin H1950 movement, 2.6mm high and combined with a 1.4-mm high GMT module by Agenhor. Sobriety comes from the slate grey dial with its distinctive typeface. The date is given on a subdial, in the same slate grey, at 6 o'clock, while at 11 o'clock the sprinkling of numerals on the silver-coloured GMT subdial brings typical Hermès originality. In addition to hours, minutes, date and a second time zone, the Slim GMT features two day/night indicators: one for home time and one for travel time. The time at destination is set by a pushbutton.
