Speedmaster Moonphase Master Chronometer

Omega has paid particular attention to the moonphase display of this Speedmaster watch: the image of the moon uses a sharply contrasting, high-resolution black and white image which in terms of detail has virtually nothing to envy a NASA photo… as one would expect of the first watch ever to be worn on the moon. Another important detail, this moonphase function only needs adjusting once in ten years. Omega has preserved the perfect symmetry of the dial by placing small seconds and the date display (by a hand) on a counter at 9 o'clock, across from the chronograph hours and minutes subdial, with a central chronograph seconds hand. The ceramic bezel is inscribed with a tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal. Last and by no means least, this Speedmaster has Master Chronometer status, a certification that will ultimately apply to every Omega collection.
