Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase

Hublot proves it is no shrinking violet with this daring new interpretation of its Spirit of Big Bang. The skeleton movement in this vivid monochrome version is brought to the fore by a purple quartz dial, a fusion of silicon dioxide (SiO2) and aluminium oxide (AI2O3) that have been melted at high temperature then coloured through the addition of a mixture of "rare earth elements". It measures 7 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Moon phase, large date and small seconds are infused with vibrant colour inside the iconic 42-mm tonneau case of the Spirit of Big Bang in titanium, hemmed with 48 amethysts.
