Laurent Ferrier has put a huge amount of thought into the design of this Sport Auto, whose “firm and rounded” curves meet counter-curves to create a perfectly balanced bodywork. The 41.50-mm case in grade 5 titanium houses the brand’s second automatic calendar movement: the LF270.01 calibre. It is equipped with a Swiss lever escapement which is less sensitive than a natural escapement, hence more suited to a sports watch. The off-centre micro-rotor incorporates a platinum oscillating weight, placed directly between the plate and the bridge to ensure stability as well as the winding power to deliver 72 hours of power reserve. As for the dial, it combines a high level of finishing with optimal legibility.
