True to the brand’s “artistically offbeat” design ethos, Une Folle Journée indicates the time by means of three off-centred rings that appear to float above the movement. Their anti-clockwise rotations show the time: hours on the outermost ring, then minutes, and seconds on the smallest, central ring. An openworked dial – a first for this model – is a chance to appreciate the details of the signature X-Centric³ movement. Designed and developed exclusively for Trilobe by Le Cercle des Horlogers, its 196 components take shape around multi-tiered bridges and plates. The contrast of diamond-polished edges highlights the grained texture of the flat surfaces.
